Despite the circuit of Pembrey being relatively flat, being an old airfield, the A&R Racing Services team had plenty of ups and downs there last weekend's North Gloucester Road Racing Club meeting.
Alan was leading the first Formula 400 race when his engine blew in spectacular fashion, putting an end to what was a promising weekend for him. Looking on the bright side, this left him more time for fitting tyres and dispensing invaluable spares without the amount of rushing that he had to do at Anglesey. However, I am not going to suggest to him that this is a good thing for fear of a flying tyre lever making contact with my person...
Geoff, on the other hand, had a somewhat better weekend. Despite being knocked off by a wayward SV650 early in proceedings, he managed three wins in the Streetstock 400 class and a third in the Formula 400.
